A target turns "are we doing well?" into a clear yes or no. In salestrack you set a monthly goal once, and the Pipeline forecast and Team performance reports measure against it. You can keep one target for the whole business or set one per branch, and you can give each salesperson their own share.
Before you start
- You need access to Team & settings. By default Owner and Admin can change targets.
- Decide what you measure: Revenue or New customers. If you track revenue, make sure your services have prices in Settings › Treatments & prices, so lead values and revenue are real.
Set the business target
- Open Targets. Go to Settings, and in the side menu under Leads, click Targets.
- Choose the scope. Pick Whole clinic (recommended: one target for all branches) or Each branch (separate targets; the total is the sum of the branches).
- Choose the measure. Pick Revenue or New customers.
- Fill in the months. The grid shows six months. Type a goal for each month, or click Suggest from history to start from your past results. To use the same number every month, fill the first month and click its copy-to-all-months button.
- Save. Click Save targets. Click Cancel to leave without changes.
Give each salesperson a target (optional)
- Turn on Sales team targets. Switch on Sales team targets on the same page.
- Split the target. Click Split to share the business target evenly, or by each person's share over the last 3 months. Adjust any person's number by hand.
- Save. Click Save targets.
Track it in reports
Pipeline forecast
In Reports, open the Pipeline and funnel tab and click Pipeline forecast. It shows expected revenue this month and next against your target:
- Target and Won so far.
- Commit, Best case and Forecast: what is likely to close, based on open leads in your pipelines.
- % of target and the Gap still to close.
Switch between this month, next month and the quarter, and break it down by branch, owner or pipeline. Leads that were lost or moved to nurture are taken out of the forecast.
Team performance and My performance
With team targets on, the Team performance report shows each person's "% of Target". Each salesperson sees their own progress in My performance.
If something goes wrong
- You cannot see Targets in Settings. Your role does not have access to settings. Ask your Owner or Admin.
- Revenue is missing or zero. Revenue columns are hidden unless your role has "See revenue and ad spend". If they show but read zero, check that prices are filled in and leads are marked Won.
